G'Day guys,

I am looking for injector upgrades for my 32GTR. Will be getting a PFC, 2860R -7's and a new fuel pump.

Looking to get direct replacements if possible. Are the Sard 700cc/800cc easy to fit in, or is there a lot of dicking around?

I have searched, but without much success. I know the Nismo are direct replacements, but wondering what else is also direct drop in?

Thanks guys.

Dan :)

The Sards i saw being fitted a a GTR a few months ago weren't a "pure" direct fit.

Dont know if thats changed in the past few months but the plug to the injector needs some thinning down to connect correctly.

I've always used Nismo, always been a direct fit without any hassle

i can second that the SARD's dont directly fit. You have to shave 2 notches off the side of the injector, and wire in the new injector plug in the loom.

Although for $623 for 800cc twin nozzle injectors, i was more than happy to do that :)

Go to this web page www.deatschwerks.com they are all direct fit and are a bargain.

they hi-flow second hand stuff though from memory.... i prefer to use new. At least you dont need to worry about how much life is left in them. If you do want to hi-flow CREATD in campbellfield can do the same thing faster and if there is an issue they are local.

Yeah, I prob wont go with highflows, I prefer new.

I was thinking that for ~$600 delivered the Sards were a bargain. I guess that the 'thinning' of the injector plug would be a non-issue from a fitment point of view. I use CREATD already, so I am sure they are used to that work.

With the Blitz 700cc you recommend, where can I source them?

Cheers for the replies guys,

Dan :teehee:

So the nengun ones will fit, just need to chase up new o-rings?

Anyone know where to get the correct o-rings?

Also, still after finding out where I can get the Blitz 700cc direct drop ins.

Cheers,

Dan :)

i wouldn't put those in my lawn mower let alone and RB26... high flowed standard injectors I've seen have never given long lasting, consistent performance. I've seen ones that started leaking. ones that flowed less than claimed and ones that just failed. not a bargain at all imo.

Sard 700cc injectors should not need to be modified at all to fit, though they will require new o-rings.

Yes, a thinner o-ring will be required if fitting to a std fuel rail. All the Jap injectors are made by Nippon Denso so brand name eg, SARD, Biltz etc is irrevalent. I believe a batch of SARD (Nippon Denso) injectors need to be filed down, this has now been rectified so some old stock will need modification. Please don't start a brand war as people who do don't know what they are on about. HKS, Blitz, SARD, Nismo etc are all from the same manufacturing plant.

Incorrect, most but definatley not all.

Brand is relevant even if both are denso for example.... Blitz side feeds and sard side feeds (both denso mind you) are totally differrent types of injector (see pics) but blitz and sard GTR/4G63 700cc look identicle (blitz dont need plug mod though so maybe they are not, does someone have the sard lag time?) so it does pay to look at what injector each brands is supplying you with.
