my passenger side window has stopped working but the drivers side is working perfectly fine.

anyone have any ideas to why this might be happening?

It could be a number of things so its a matter of trial and error really.

Start by taking the switch out making sure it hasn't come loose/off and go from there.

Do you have control from the drivers side to it?

probly the passanger windows motor has burnt out, its pritty common and you can get a brand new motors from alljaps wreckers for $125.

good luck

Aif.

if the switch to that window has lost its SprIng tension it will cause the window to stay on down and burn the motor out. if it feels softer then the others switchs then you'll need to replace it aswell or you'll need another motor.

yes i can put the window up/down via a button on the drivers side.

why does the motor burnt out though>?

So i would start with the switch in the passengers door to see if the plug has come off/loose or faulty. Also check the wiring to make sure thats all ok :)
