Hi guys just wondering if yous can help me out i have a r34 gtt 4 door mods hybrid cooler, 3half inch stainless xforce exhuast, greedy pro fec b 2 electronic boost controller, safc2, car is running low 8psi and high 11 do you think i can safely run 14 with these mods i heard the cerimic turbo wont cope ????? but i hear a lot of people running 14 all day let me no please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like what others have said, 12psi is the absolute maximum for a stock gtt turbo if you want it to last. That would also depend on your driving style, if you side step the clutch on a hot day it would most certainly shatter itself.

You could set up your Profec B2 into two boost levels, 12psi on HI for daily driving and 10psi on LO for track days.

No, because when someone side step the clutch what usually follows is hard abusive driving ie fast gear changes, full revs each gear which means extra load and heat on the engine, turbo, drivetrain & etc. In which case the plastic/ceramic wheeled turbo would usually fail first before anything else.

Never as simply as "the shock through the drivetrain causes it to shatter does it?" :D if one doesn't have anything intelligent or valuable to say in this section, he should keep himself in The Wasteland together with his smart ass comments. LMAO

spot on the money mate. my turbo blew when i dropped the clutch on 13 psi. was a warmish day.
