keep an eye out on ebay as i have seen a couple turn up on there from time to time.

or you can try mercury motorsport in brisbane, they can now remove your ecu, fit a new chip and totally tune the ecu to your vrhicle. have spoken to them about it and it is a suitable update for standard and modified cars.

i've seen them on there, but dont know if they are truely the real thing..

thanks for the help

got one mines computer from ebay and was genuine article, no longer have it any more.

i wouldn't like to say for sure about the whole engine/tranny combination. can lead to a heap of headaches having miss matched transmissions and diff combo's. i would personally suggest a complete seperate aftermarket computer and ditch the original, i would suggest you look into making sure about your diff centres. you may need to keep the same ratio as the original unit that the transmission came out of, you may find that the tranny wants to do all sorts of weird things other wise.

try talking to mercury motorsport in brisbane, these guys seem to be fairly switched on and should be able to point you in the right direction.
