Keeps the oil out of the intake and the intercooler. $199 inc shipping from taka kaira and probably around $50 to get steve at sst to fit it up.

that means youre reintroducing oil vapour into the intake system which is the whole idea of a catch can...

adam, you will find just about all of the oil vapour will be trapped in the can. The filter material sees to that.

Mine looks to be hooked up the same way as troy's dont see any problems there.

cause its the legal way. set it up with a filter to atmosphere and ur asking for a yellow adam.

Robs is a oil seperator and road legal the other set up is a breather and yellow bait. The can is very light and could not fit

upright anywere else.

Adam, My intake line to the can is coated in oil, the line that runs to the turbo intake is clean, so not much oil does get returned to the system. Plus it's legal:D

whats stopping the oil from returning to the intake?

mine ist a yellowable catch can because its got a K&N filter over the outlet to atmoshpere. which means that air is being filtered before released

Adam, No mate your wrong. Yours will recieve a yellow sticker.

The catch-can houses material which causes the vapour to return to liquid form, taking the oil out of the air, and it collects at the bottom.

Yeah its a sard catch can, I had a look around locally (ie: over east) and even non-brand names were around $200 so I went through taka and got it for $199 delivered, and they even overcharged me for postage. They claim it weighs 4.5kgs and charge you for that weight, it weighed .9kg cos I got the con note stuck to the box

Cool. I've managed to find a similar one at Cypher for $140 (without all the pipes etc) so I'll go pick that up on Saturday morning. Hopefully it'll work just as well.
