I have a new 2 way and it is not noisy at all. you can feel the clunks when driving up carpark ramps and when doing fast 90deg turns but apart from it makes no noise,

the car however feels completely different to drive. I would not recommend having one on the road if unskilled driver is to use the car. exiting a corner and accelerating even at the apex will induce drift and a lot of it.

the Kaaz 2 way are noisy i have heard quite a few people say. the diff i just fitted is a nismo sss I used penrite 80/140 oil with limslip addetive. the oil you use will make a big difference to the noise.

I couldn't be happer with my new diff but they are almost $500 more than the Kaaz

i have a 2 way from a Tommy Kaira R33 in my car, same thing as you with the noise - driveways when one wheel pops up and sometimes on u turns ..

been thinking of getting some nolethane or urethane Diff mounts but havent seen any anywhere.

the slight push understeer gets you the first time it appears, but after you modify the driving style they are really great and predictable diffs.

A 1.5 way or even a 1 way would have the EXACT same characteristics as what your describing here. All aftermarket LSD's behave this way, the only difference between a 2 way and a 1.5 way is their locking effect on decel. otherwise they both are going to spin the wheels on a corner exit.

a 2 way can be awesome for grip driving also.. the driver needs to know what they are doing and the car needs to not have that silly "drift set up" with massively stiff spring rates and so forth.

I have a 2 way and i love it, even for Daily driving, its predictable, quiet, and only slightly annoying when parking. otherwise its awesome for drift, awesome for circut and grip etc./

I have a 2way mechanical diff in my car & i'll say its pretty clunky on second gear tight turns, parking, manouvering in tight places etc. But they are awesome for drifting etc, every day driving whatever i dont have a problem with it & would never change it..
