It actually sounds about right i think..

eagle rods aren't all that expensive. and keep in mind that is in $USD so convert it back to $AUD and add shipping to australia on top.

its probably a tad cheaper then normal prices but not to the point of rushing to rebuild the engine.

so you need a rebuild hey Rus? not good to hear; I know from all your threads youve been having a few issues.

there is Nothing wrong with buying performance engine parts off ebay. I did it for my bike engine rebuild and saved a packet, and Id have no hesitation doing it all again on my rb25 engine (if ever needed)

good luck with it dude

yeah having cold start issues still, definatly not a head gasket, somethign electronic, cos every now and then it works fine. maybe a leak somewhere i don't know, but i have searched and pulled just about everyhting off and still nothing. LOL.

My current engine is going strong, no issues there, but i am not sure if i am willing to put it under more stress and go bang. I am actually about to purchase some engine bits and use the stock crank ofset and reground to increase the engine capacity. I have an engine in bits abvailable for purchase.

The reason i am enquiring here on the net about the above kit, is that a simmilar kit on a website in Oz is about 3.5K.
