I have a set of coilovers on my car and im thinking about ripping them out and selling them because they are too bumpy for my liking (everyday driving). I have no idea what the spring rates are (they came on the car when i bought it) so who could i see about this. Also does anyone have any idea how much s/hand coilovers go for ? All i know is that they are Kei Office. I can take some pics later on.

Another thing...when u throw it hard in second...the ass ends up in the lane next to me...VERY tail happy so im assuming they are awsome for drifting >_< ?

Any help ?

Thanks !

did u get the adjuster things to change the damper

maybe changing this might make them better

i know my coil overs are very good

Yeh damper can be changed, im just not sure if i want coilovers any more or not. I really like how it GLUES the car to the road in the corners while going for a drive in the hills, and really, they are awesome, nothing wrong with them...but i don't know...at this stage im thinking of building a more comfortable car rather then a race/track car.

Well I'm in the same boat as Kisin. My car came with Tein HR's which are too harsh for what I use the car for. As such I'm selling mine, and am looking at around $850 as I have a set of C spanners to go with them to adjust the height (spanners go for $50-70 normally).

So Kisin I would suggest starting at around $800 like I am and see if they sell. Most importers ask between 750-950 depending on condition I believe, so Im startin in the middle of that.

chances are the spring rates are way high. As sk says your car is probably skipping over bumps instead of having the shocks absorb them. Thats why yer arse is trying to overtake u.

Fit up a set of Bilstein with matched springs, and u will find better performance with better ride. They are an excellent shock for performance and dont give the rim shattering hit over bumps.

Price of your Kei office ones, depends on a few things - condition, pics (cos we all like piccies) and how much they are worth to you. If u want to get rid of em, dont hold out for a gold bar :)

hey adam he has a R34GTT i dont think hell want the 33gtst stock suspension.

adam, quick tip make sure whatever coilovers you buy are rebuildable, as second hand ones may be close to stuffed in alot of cases (not saying that KISIN has stuffed ones, they sound awesome.).
