Hotwire
Um, Adz your own thread dude: Click Apart from that, have seen various comments from "good fit" to "more warp than Star Trek" LOL Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/169842-dmd/#findComment-3138387 Share on other sites
Deluxe
As Lee said, This has been covered about 3 times in the last year, Search on here for Viva Garage! Also you pay for what you get, Viva have been known of late to supply to the drifters, So it wouldn't surprise me if thier quality has dropped! pkblade
From what I can gather they have new manufacturers for some of their kits & quality has improved. Was over for the Syd Autosalon recently & a business trader there (Smooth) sources some of their kits from VG & they seemed pretty happy with them. dundas
when i got my kit from viva, one of my side skirts were not fitting properly.. i just did some cutting and sanding and bending... it fit nice after all that and painting etc., it was some work to prep it and get it to fit nicely.. but it was very nice in the end. i guess you will get better quality from the plastic kits.. but they cost shit loads more than the fibreglass stuff which usually does warp. andz
might sound harsh (truth usually does) but learn from your mistakes and shop local or find a business that is well known and used by other SAU Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/169842-dmd/#findComment-3140912 Share on other sites
OZ_Pomy
Just got Bn Side skirts and rear bar the other day from DMD rocked up cracked (not dmd's fault the couriers it was packaged very vell) But put the side skirts on my car they seem to fit but there to tight and crack around the corners so gona have to strengthen it up with more fibre glass i guess rear bar looks like its gona fit alrite. The only other thing im not happy with is on the side skirts as part of the skirt it says Monkey on there in the bottom back corner. This is because DMD distribute for Monkeyware house i could prolly sand it off but this should have been shown in photos or atleast told me about it before i bought it. I have heard nothing but bad about viva garage (very shit fitting kits) and when i rang them up to ask about the kit the guy was an absolute cock head so i went else where. Good luck either way you go let us know how ya go Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/169842-dmd/#findComment-3141120 Share on other sites
