Power Fc Issue

just in the process of purchasing a power fc, but the guy i am purchasing it off is under the impression that the power fc off his series one r33 will not fit my series two r33. aparently because of a different loom for the coil packs. i have never heard of this, and was always under the impression that the power fc fitted any r33, series 1 or two, but he says that apparently if i fitted it onto my car i would be getting a lot of misfires etc.

so before i fork over a grand, is this true, or false info?

Any ECR33 PowerFC will suit S1 & S2 RB25.

Only difference with the ignition is the ignitor is built into the coil packs.

The ignitor (on a s1) is situated on the coil pack cover, s2 it is located in each coil pack.

People get confused as you cant use the RB25DET S2 STANDARD ECU in a S1 (AFM is different).

Misfires.... no.... he doesnt know what he's talkin bout. wiring path is exactly the same only instead of the ignitor firing the packs the ignitors in the packs.... fire the packs.
