Your R33 preferred servicer

Hi Everyone

I am due to get my R33 soon, and I would like to find out from each of you who you get your car serviced with in Victoria and why you would/would not go back to them again. I live in the SE burbs so anywhere near that would be neato.

I get my servicing done at Dandeong Nissan.... some people say that nissan are expensive and don't know about imports.... but they have really looked after me with my 180sx and now my 'line. :talk2hand

Saying that I will be trying out UPI for my next service. (see Vic sticky for details).

Give Gerald or Nigel a call at the factory and they can tee up a time for you.

ive been doing it my self and i ve had no issues

except 2 lil things eg the oil filter having a crack some where spiting oil

not my fault

anddd the sparke plugs

couldnt remember how everything went back togeather but all fixed now

but really it isnt that hard.. half the time ur drain and replacing filters

Thanks guys - I was hoping everyone could post something so others who are getting a 'line or are not happy with their servicing at the momo could find out where others are getting theirs done.

i service my car myself. anyone can do it themselves but you have to be skylineingly minded or something!

UPI all the way mate, I have done it myself a few times but can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to get rid of the oil. This way I buy my own oil and give it to the guys and they do the rest!

Fast, Efficient, Reliable, Honest, Affordable, Knowledgable

And ALL the guys there are Nissan enthusiasts. They look after you, its not unlikely for me to go down their for a few hours, talk some shit and have a few laughs while the cars getting fixed! I'm getting some work done at the moment so I will let everyone know how it goes soon.

take it to someone that deals with skylines, they have to have a diagnostics computer

I take my car to M.I. (Mirror Image) Automotive in Bulleen. The owner, Arthur, knows his Skyline's (he has his demo R33 out the front most days) and chucks the car on the dyno for a run every service for good measure!

go down to rev-zone in nunawading.. they use motul oil all the way...or if you pay abit extra for redline
