Headlight Brighter On One Side

Hey Guys,

I drive a 96 R33 Series 2, and my passenger head light appears to be shining brighter than the drivers side. I have tried the adjustment screws thinking that it may have been the reflector, but after playing around with it for a few hrs it didn't seem to make much difference. The lights clearly move, but there wasn't any difference in the amount of light.

Bulbs have been switched around too, with no change.

See below for an idea of what I mean...

Any ideas??

That's normal as far as I know.

I think this is to minimise the chances of blinding on coming traffic. Brighter on passanger side to see signs maybe? Or is that the parkers job? Not too sure.

I think it's normal so don't worry about it.

Ive noticed its like this on my R32 as well and when my mates behind me in his 32 I always notice his passenger light is brighter then drivers, must just be a Skyline thing because I dont notice it on other cars.

i had this problem after i changed light bulb myself...

and i looked through the headlight and the bulb is not sitting in the braket properly.

may be try to fit light bulb properly into the bracket..

yep exactly the same on my 32 aswell, although id say it would be more design fault than actually done on purpose

I dont think my lights on my 33 are that uneven.

Try swapping the globes from left to right, see if that changes anything.

ive got the same issue.. no amount of adjusting the glober holders position would change it though

i m in the same shoes, have a series 2 r33 and the passenger'side looks brighter.
