No modification required at all to make them fit

Not sure if the following applies to R34 N1 pumps

BUT.............................................................................

....

N1 water pump has a different impeller design than a std RB 26DETT both in the number of blades and the impellor depth (from memory)

Really they are designed to suit N1 blocks, and work best in high RPM operations.

N1 water pump + std block = poor water flow => lots of $$$$ when cylinders 5&6 get hot !!!!
