hey guys just picked up my car after 6months of sitting around whilst on defect! the car hasnt been tuned for 12months. the car is blowing black smoke faint on idle but when i dump it the smoke pops out! i have fmic, pod. the turbo has been replaced with a stock one! would it just be a matter of a new tune?? i can smell alot of petty! any ideas??

1. Reset ECU

2. Try injector cleaner.

3. Failing injector cleaner, have injectors sonic-cleaned.

yep! thats right... when i put the foot down a puff comes out. and i can smell petrol! like more than normal. also its using alot more petrol than it normally does.

sounds like its running really rich mate needs to get leaned up with a good tune

what mods do you have???

if the car hasn't been started it could be dead fuel pressure regulator, very dirty injectors or and o-ring on a injector is starting to leak

i have been driving the car for 5days now...

i did have fuel pressure reg on there and eboost bt they are now off! will be going back on any day now! i was also told due to my turbo shitting itself there is oil in my cooler piping and on the bottom of the cooler! but this would cause white smoke wouldnt it? but im gonna book her in for a tune and c wat happens! mind u i have a rb25 turbo sitting waiting to go in!
