I've done a search, and also read that 6-page sticky re Waxes.

I'm leaning towards the Meguiar's products, namely:

Gold Class Liquid Wax

-Polish and Wax, contains conditioning oils, part synthetic polymers for protection. Famous for creating deep, dark, crystal clear reflections on any type of paint. Excellent for people who love a deep, dark reflective shine, but who also want superior protection for their car's finish.

Nxt Generation Tech Wax

-pure synthetic paint protectant that will do more to increase optical clarity, shine and gloss, while providing the best protection against attack than any other wax on other market

There are your classic guys out there, that will stick to natural carnuba waxes, and i'm confused what one to try. Probably leaning towards the Tech Wax, a bit more expensive. Can anyone share their experiences with these two waxes?

Is it called High Tech Yellow Wax, or does the bottle say "Deep Crystal System Carnauba Wax"?

Edit:

Found it, they dont classify it as a consumer product, but a professional one

Mate I use the NXT Generation Tech Wax - and for that matter all of the products in the NXT range - only the best for my babies.

This stuff works really well and is so easy to use that polishing only takes a matter of minutes when the paint is clean.

Is it the best because its the most expensive?

Is your car silver? I've read that the Gold Class is best on dark colours, the NXT Tech Wax gives a better result on white cars.

Look up Zaino. They have some new all in one products which are getting really good reveiws.

Up to now they have been more used by pro detailers and involved a fair bit of layering of several products but their new all in one stuff cuts all this out and you still get an unbelievable look and very very long lasting - 9 months I think.

I've just got a friend in the US to ship me some, so will post some pics once the car is done.

Try autopia.org as well, mountains of info on car care.

The one thing that everyone says though is prep the paint properly otherwise doesn't matter how good the final wax/sealant is you will always see blemishes and swirls. A good wax/sealant will actually highlight the problems if you don't prep the paint beforehand.
