need? are you sure now? :laughing-smiley-014:

probably should pull them to find out, but yeah, them seem well fracked =)

thought they may have just been performance pads, but even when they are hot they squeal like little piggies!!! (mebe not so little piggies..)

Squeel doesn't mean you need new pads..

Grinding does. lol :P

Your probably missing the anti-squeel shims on the back of the pad. My Ferodo's squeel like all buggery just before coming to a stop as I don't run the anti-squeel's. I couldn't fit them on as the pad had a heap of rubber type crap on the back of it.

Probably could have got them in there but didn't have much time to play around with it.

In the past I've used PBR antisqueel grease with the antisqueel shims and the brakes have been silent. Even when I ran around with Ultimates that are renowned for squeel.

Ultimates = crap. Didn't last long, lots of dust and ate my disks.

What usage would u get out of em? (where would u be driving them the most?)

I use RB74's on the front as i feel that anything more expensive for the street (where most of my driving is done) is pointless..They hardly dust at all

I had my gtr calipers rebuilt with new seals, then had the rb74's put in with new anti-squeal shims + used the copper grease supplied (shims + copper grease come in a kit from nissan for sfa) Installed em all, then went for a bed in (as i had the rotors machined fresh as well.

Basically went fer a few 80-40 rolling stops and had em smoking. U could smell it hard...

By the time i got to my driveway i could lock the front brakes easy.

They have never squealed ever. Iirc they are $150 for the front set from racebrakes, who can send em to your door COD as well

EBC arnt the best either...Ds2500 would be the next best one up from the rb74's...but then your looking at ~$240 a set :S

got a reply from Racing Brakes today...

"In that pad we do not do RB74, I would be putting endless vn9500 in your car"

Wouldn't advise getting any of the VN range, they're not performance pads. If you do go Endless go SS-S or SS-M.
