Hi,

I know this much.....25 deg advanced???.......woah!...could start causing u other issues soon.

Is the motor pinging yet.

But hey, you might have the right mods already to handle it!!.

The following is majorly open for corrections.....

The lead u need to diconnect is for the TPS, I believe..and I thought you'd disconnect that prior to setting your idling speed via the Idle Valve screw, located at the rear of intake manifold???...not sure how that has got anything to do with a timing adjustment though.

Anyways, at least you'll get some responses now!!!

Regards,

Superspit.

bottom connector on the TPS is the one to pull off. your timing will change when you do this so make sure you measure with it off. idle speed also changes your timing so make sure it's pretty close to right (I got lazy and just assumed it was )

my car was pinging on 18 degrees, so I have to run 15 even on 98RON.
