crashd
What model is your pioneer mono amp? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/170363-wiring-up-a-jl-duel-voice-coil-sub/#findComment-3155920 Share on other sites
vitz_n1
it depends on the power of the amp. if it will supply enough power for the sub at 4 ohm then that is best as it will give you the best sound quality. if the amp isn't quite up to it at 4 ohm and is capable of running at 1 ohm then run it that way. some_cs_student
it depends on the power of the amp. if it will supply enough power for the sub at 4 ohm then that is best as it will give you the best sound quality. if the amp isn't quite up to it at 4 ohm and is capable of running at 1 ohm then run it that way. If ohms means increased resistance then why would you want it to be higher? Wouldn't that mean less power? How does it mean better sound quality? I'm still learning car audio so I'm curious...
