Why Can't I Run My Vin Number In Nissan Fast?

Hi,

I'm fine running everyone else's VIN number in FAST but I can't seem to run my own.

My VIN number is:

BNCR33xxxxxx

My car is a 1998 R33 GTR and I have read on Nissan Silvia and here that not all VIN numbers work without inputting the model code, so I found:

Mainly by FunkyMonkey, but there doesn't appear to be the R33 information on there.

Is there a way I can run my own VIN number in FAST? Or do I need the model code?

Can someone please send me an R33 GTR VIN number so I can run through the model code?

Preferably Series 3.

I tried looking through the FAST thread but didn't find many R33 GTR VIN's

Does anyone know how I can lookup my VIN in FAST?

Also, is it a bad idea to leave VIN numbers on the internet? I can't see any harm in it but I'm curious...

Try BCNR33, not BNCR33

Tried it again and that works, must have been doing something stupid.

Although most other VIN's for R33 run as "ECR33" not sure why.

ECR's are GTS-t's and BCNR's are GTR's. Thats why you're having trouble
