hey guys just recently my oil pressure gauge on my 32 GTR has been reading different pressures like sometimes its normal arouind the 4 dash but then sometimes its below it on the 2 dash and today it was above the 4 and i was driving it normally... what could be wrong???

is it just the sender is playing up if so where do i find the sensotr on the car ???

You need to be more specific... your oil pressure will vary as you drive, while the engine is cold, the pressure is high. If you put your foot to the floor, even more so when its cold, your pressure will be high. If the engine is warm and you're just idling, then it will be low :woot:

It will more than likely be the sender - every R32 I've seen, including my own, has a dodgy reading.

I'd be driving along and the needle will just shoot up to the top or fall down to the bottom or anywhere in between at the drop of a hat. I've got a freshly built engine with new N1 oil pump and had the pressure measured with a master gauge, so there's no probs there.

You could try getting a new sender, but you'd probably be better off just getting a whole new aftermarket gauge setup because the nissan stuff always seem to go haywire.
