R32 Gtr Oil Pump

I called nissan up today to get a standard R32 GTR oil pump and they quoted $624 and you can get a N1 for cheaper including the collet. Im just wondering is all RB oil pumps the same and if i called up and asked for say a VL RB30 oil pump would it be half the price?

Supply and demand.. The N1 has been cheaper for some time.

And from what i hear, N1's are better. From memory 400ish?

N1s are better and so far cheaper but they are only better if the crank shaft is pulled out and machined to fit the collet. i have a early model 32 and want to get out of it cheaply ha. but im looking towards a rebuild anyway
