Stick with the std stuff, and go have a few wild weekends on the sauce. Bets find another $200-300, buys you much better gear

i ohnestly didnt understand most of what you said... could you elaberate?

With pricing, im going from stock r32 and buying all performance parts with money from other car, meaning my pocket will only be so deep

i think he means to use the standard stuff and if you can get another $200-$300 then you can get better stuff...?

ive got the HSD HR coilovers in my car and i couldnt be happier with them, you can still feel the bumps in the road as i have mine on pretty stiff settings, but it handles a lot better now. i havent tried them on the softest settings yet. but they are alot better than the stock parts.

Yeh, was just saying that either pocket your money and spend it on a few big weekends. OR, pocket your money and save for a little longer and look at some other options. $1400 is a lot of money to get a compromise. If you were talking $1000 id say they are a good option. But if you are able to get the buidget up around $1700-1800 then you have many more options.

A friend has HSD in his S13. They are pretty good, and considering the pace at which he punts the car they are obviously pretty good on the track. But htey knock like bastards on the street (since only a month or two old) and they are pretty hard on the street. My personal thoughts are if youa re going to spend that much money, perhaps consider what another few hundred buys you.

...and i understand completely about the pockets only being so deep. Sucks doesnt it when the plans for your car are killed by cash flow
