Guys,

Just wondering who here has installed a drift butotn for their handbrake?

Ive searched....found this thread

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...+button+install

Instructions from nissanboys13 - it says " Using a flathead screwdriver flip the tabs on each side of the handbrake out in order to drop the spring (the standard handbrake button will sink in and stay)" so Im guessing this is the grip?

Im having shitloads of trouble and getting very frustrated at trying to get the grip off.

What is the process?

Help!

Cheers,

Chris

bloody hell chubbs... just get more girly drinks into ya! you'll be horizontal in no time :)

but i understand the theory behind it... when you pull the hand brake up, you dont want the button to latch on and hold it up...

is that correct?

Hehe, i have no idea how too..

But what i do is, i undo those two little clips

and on the side of the handbrake there is a little gap

when you push the handbrake buton in.. wedge a little

screw into it so it stays in!

hehe, then when im done.. i just pull the screw out and

clip it up =D!

Dodgey but works

Muhahahah i got one installed bro

but it dosent wedge in

extra 45deg angle drifto easy

i couldnt get my cover off either! i think they are glued and sown on.

so bit of duct tape at the track fixes that problem
