ive just purchase a harness of an import dealer. and after paying additional costs [harness] i dont want to get it installed by a pro. im saying this b/c im having trouble installing it with the harness[ffs]. Where is the plug for this thing, i dont know where it is. Do i need to remove a plug which is already connected to other wires. Im starting to regret this purchase, should have just bought a new timer. ah wells.

Have a look underneith the dash, above where your pedals are.

You should see a big clear plug, with red and yellow wires going into. You need to unplug this, chuck the harness in the middle.

You will most probably see 3 plugs on the harness. One plug will go to the timer, and the other 2 are used to go inbetween the old plug you pulled apart.

If you don't want to go looking for your handbrake wire, you can just ground it to an earth.

The harness makes it easier to install the turbo timer. This way you don't have have to cut any power wires and solder the timer's wires to them.

    • Ayooo, been a while mates. I have a s2 r33 gtst and air stopped coming out of all the top vents.   My car has always made an actuator gear noise when turning the car on but that's a different issue I think? Did searches and am at process of thinking it's an actuator or some type of motor? I see a few different actuators and don't know which one. Would be nice to know if it was the one that's under the steering wheel so the dash doesn't need to come out.
    • Hi, just checking. Did you get this stuff made by Vspec Performance and at what price roughly? Looking into (sometime later) also getting such a intake kit, and Trust as well as HKS don't make a full set like this anymore.
