Hi

I just bought my 1st R32 and it doesnt have a battery clamp.

Can I just buy one of those in supercrap stores? I cant find any holes on the tray to poke the L shape clamps you get from supercrap.

Better if anyones here in Brisbane got a spare battery clamp.

Also when I 1st start the car it kinda wants to stall straight away unless I press the pedal once to get the rev up and it idles fine...

When I had a look at the car it wasnt doing this, but the battery was flat as it was sitting for a while. So the previous owner bought a cheap battery to replace it.

Could it be cos of the el cheapo battery couldnt handle 1st starts?

Also the light switch behind the gear stick one is for the lower inner light on the front bar and when you press is towards the back which light should be on? cos nothing is coming on.... is that for the outside light on the front bar?

Thanks

You could just drill holes to get the L shape stick to hook up, I have a spare factory L shape thing but can't find the actual metal bar thats goes over the battery.

some pic of that light switch might help, bit hard to remember what's what without access to r32 now :)

Try getting a quote from nissan for interests sake. Might have to come from japan, takes 10 days. Ive attached a pic of the bracket and its part number from fast. Alternatively, try contacting nisswreck or any other imports wrecker. Or nissan silvia seeing as they use skyline front cuts in their sils.

I dont think u need over 400CCA to crank it up, 350 should be enuff. But that said some CCA of certain batteries are overrated or underrated. My deka etx30l is rated 365CCA, but when we tested it, its actually doing 470CCA.
