Do not use the q45 90mm throttle body. It's not made for supercharged applications and the seals around the throttly axle will leak boost pressure. I've bought 3 tb's and tried before I gave up. They all leak after 0.6bars og pressure

That seems strange, as even the genuine greddy manifolds are drilled to suit them, there are 80, 90 and 100 mm anodised throttle bodies on ebay for under $300 new

My local rod shop supplied me with a machined billet number that sure looks the goods. A tad over 300 dollars from memory. and its 80 mil. It doesnt bolt directly to the greddy plenum but it wont be difficult to make it fit. :bunny:

I looked for ages for a q45 and gave up trying to find one. When you do they sell for around the 250 dollar mark anyway so I figure for the bit extra its worth it to have the new one.

i think that the standard trottle body will be a restriction to make the 350rwkw in my rb so im just doin everything slowly and getting everything over a period of time all those billet ones on ebay are in chine and i can get better quality from here and its aussie made "support aussies as much as possiable" lol

pretty funny while driving a jap car haha

I used an 80mm throttle off a q45 v8, it bolted on and was half the price of a shiny billet one
i cant seem to find a q45

I've got one for sale on the Gold Coast in QLD, happy to post if you are interested shoot me off a PM.

I agree that does seem strange, ive used one on my car for over a year (490hp @ 1.2bar) with no issues or leak what so ever.

hypertune ftw!!!!!

I just had a bad experience with a HYPERTUNE plenum for a EVO (real animal with well over 300awkw), awesome plenum but overpriced and required ALOT of work to fit.... and the HYPERTUNE throttle bodys are flat out junk.
