Best Ecu To Put In A Gtr?

Hey

If i cant get my afm, i'm seriously considering getting rid of them completely. Anyone know a good computer to put in my GTR??

You could get a Power FC and Nismo AFM's, $400 ea, a AFM (std are $800 ea). I was quaoted $2800 for a Haltec, MAP sensor and tune 2 years ago. And I got the PFC, Nismo AFM's and tune for $2000.

If you want too piss the AFM's off, i'd go a Autronic, or Haltec, but it will cost you more.

id be going for the power FC as its pretty much a plug and play. and they can be had pretty cheap from some of the online sponsors.

Hey mate, i've got a motec M48 and ign expander which came off a GTR if your interested P.M. me Run the car howver you like, afm/no afm and easily tuned, most ppl know how to use motec

Really depends on what you want to do with the car to a degree.

Obviously they all have pro's & con's and you have to look at which suits your needs the best...

PFC you have the versatility of being able to pretty much take it to any tuner here in Tassie and afar, but then there is the added hassels of AFM's for you.

Autronic would be my choice but again depends if your talking a daily driver set up, track car, weekend racer or ricer

second the autronic.....very good ecu....but a little pricey! .....you get what you pay for, and depends what your tuner likes to tune and know!.........been down that road before....and never again!

but best bang for buck would be the PFC......

Decided to go with a Haltech E11 and get rid of the afm's for good:)

Can't wait to get it on the road..........

People in Launceston can install a Haltec, go see Brad at Boost Automotive on invermay rd.

Yeah Brad did it for me.............. But now im moving to Hobart within the week and will need a good quality mechanic down there
