Pics Of Diff Shims

I'm looking for some pics as to what the skyline diff shims look like.

Has anyone got any.....

They look like pineapple rings but metal and can be any thickness. Mine are about 3 or 4 mm thick and I'm told they were unusually thick.

Diameter? etc..

85mm outside diamter, 70mm inside, 2mm thick. As I said, mine are thick. Much like myself.

we have some confusion here.

lows_13 is talking about preload shims that go either side of the standard viscous centre and spider gear assembly.

Abo Bob is talking about shims that go in a mechanical diff.

they are completly different.

Hmm, those shims I pictured were in my R34 with both the viscous centreand the mechanical centre.

That's not to say there aren't other shims in there somewhere that I don't know about.

go to my diy thread in my sig and you will see what the shims look like.those shims are the ones that hold the bearings and caps nice and ridgid in place.

Mine came from the lsd centre centre.its like 0.8mm stock thickness.it needs bigger for dori evilness.
