I Want To Buy A Digi Video Camera!

Hi all,

I'm looking forward to purchase a Digital Video Camera, i want something that is simple to use, friendly software, straight forward for download, up load, doesn't have to have all the un-neccessaries features in it like mp3, big lcd or even digital camera capable which most do.

I've got a buget of around $500, just want to see if anyone here in SAU VIC land has own/use one that fit my description, please advise, have feed back.....etc.

Digital video cameras are now ranging from as low as $300 new even at stores like Harvey Norman etc. You should be able to walk into any good camera store and get what you want easy. As for freindly to use, i would recommend panasonic but im quite bias

I also would like to see peoples comments on dvd recording vs mini DV. Sorry to hi jack your thread but what is everyones thoughts?

if you want to use it in car on track then stick with mini-dv. HD cams and DVD cams are no good for in car use.
