Speed Limiter

hey i have a 32 gtst. I'm not sure whetheri just never noticed or whether it never happened before but recently i have noticed that there is a beeping noise (obviously the speed limiter) but how do i change it to 180 or something higher?

silvias have the same thing. you can't change it. it isn't a limiter, just a warning beeper.

i dnt think it used to come on tho cos i used to hit 150km/h n heard nothing so i dnt get it

Yeh, they all have these (mines at about 107) because presumably 110 is the highest speed u can go in japan legally on the road. There was a DIY a while back about disabling it (might have been in general maintenance section) try there, it's just a wire that needs snipping

Mine stops at 120 then i can drop back down to 110 without it coming on again

hmm i have a 1989 r32 mine doesnt have it, but just look for a little speaker behinder the dash and chop chop.

www.nengun.com type in limiter in the search and presto its by apexi i think and wires into the ecu 10 second wire up and removed speed limiter.. $120 bux or something

mine doesnt beep or anything but it stop's at 180.. wont go any futher

talking about the beeper he's got not the limiter....title needs changing...

and to remove the limiter at 180...get your can chiped and tuned....better value.

Im not too sure about the r32 but on my r33 its a little grey box with a plug you can just unplug
