Bonnet Release Cable Snapped

i think my bonnet release cable has snapped checked the release mechanism inside the car it seems fine but there is no tension on to the latch under the bonnet.

any ideas how to fix

still its a barstard thing to happen think i am going to start pulling bumper and cooler off as i dont wont to butcher the cable til im sure whats wrong

well I had this happen once too and sorry can't remember the exact steps we took to fix it. we managed to get the bumper off and go from there, but I think getting the grill out without breaking it was a major challenge? sorry no specifics
