Yesterday I was about 100kms out of sydney and couldn't wait to get home coz I was as sick as dog from a stomach bug. it was pouring down rain and freezing when the R32 (gtst) which had been running without a hic up just started to cough and splutter and I came to a stop by the side of the road. here are the symptoms Idles very rough if at all, revs no more than 4.000 RPM loads of black smoke. one small thing i did notice is that although i could hear the turbo spooling I couldn't get it to boost, (stuffed turbo maybe) checked all hoses and pluges and everything is fine.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks heaps James.

it could be bad fuel sparki, coil, leads, or blocked fuel line, filter or injector since it happed in the rain, water could of got into ur engine bay causing a short some where. happed to me one rainy night after work drove home and my car had the exact same prob except it had a missfire, next day it started up fine.
