R33 Gtr Brembo's

Im soon upgrading my frount calipers on my r33 gts-t to a set of r33gtr Brembo's. Can any one tell me what i should be paying for a set.

Honestly..

Its a wasted mod.

The stock brakes with good pads and slotted disks are good enough for anything you can throw at it.............. apart from a set of wide slicks.

The idea of bigger brakes is so that you can use the grip larger stickier tyres. Without wide really sticky tyres big brakes are wasted. On our beloved Skylines anyway.

Iv got dba slotted disk's and braided lines already, just thought GTR Brembo's would finsh the upgrade and look good.

The GTR brembos run larger disks so you would be required to purchase new disks.

Front - 324mm

Rear - 300mm

Your 33 runs

Front - 296mm

Rear - 297mm

ummmmm i was told it was a bolt up job, maybe i might just keep the gts-t calipers

They are a bolt up job.. Just need to slide on the suitable disks while your there.

I think JMS have a set of R33 brembos with used rotors and used pads for $2500

Yep, they aren't cheap.

All things from a GTR are pricey. It's almost worth importing them to wreck them and sell for parts - at least then you wont have to pay compliance and would probably make nearly twice your money back.

2500 should be front and rear?

there is a chance u may able to pick up a decent pair of 4 pots caliper, pad with 355mm floating disc for that price

do a search on Jap yahoo and talk to slidewise for bidding them
