Where Does This Hose Go?

Hi guys

does anyone know where this hose goes and/or what it is? the pics are of a hose which seems to go to no where. the pics are looking at the left hand side of the motor on r32 GTR.

Is your Hicas solenoid valve still in there? (Page CH-337 in the R32 GT-R manual)...if not then there should be two hoses under there, coming from the power steering pump(Correct me if im wrong).

the hicas is still there. it doesnt appear to be connected to it. my GTR is in its last days of rebuild and still at mechanics. if it wasnt, id have a looksee...

might be the diff breather pipe hard to tell

yeah i think diff breather as well, plus its one of the few things you could disconnect and stil have th motor running. You should have a wierd twisty pipe bolted to the underside of the plenum that it connects to.

It bolts up under the inlet manifold. Get a mirror to see it. Looks like this:

thanks, couldn't find it unfortunately, so i've given it to my mechanic to check it out. Hopefully he's smarter than me...

Well i took it off to the mechanic. He said that it was an old fuel line which was not removed when braided fuel lines were installed. No wonder i couldn't find where it belongs...
