Paul where can I get a HKS GT-RS for $2500. I would apprecciate your help.

Paul will I get water and oil lines for $2500? Or will I have to pay for them, as well?

for $2500 you can get a hks gt-rs kit and then sell your old turbo for $500 (if it works) so $2000 changeover

it should come as a complete kit too.

$1000 for oil and water lines?

Ease up on the bullshit mate.

What are u on about mate. Ring em yourself and hear their rubbish first hand... thats what they told me... how can u even comment :D

I call these other company to find out what the turbo would cost.

I wanted to purchase a HKS GT-RS turbo was told it will cost $3600 at best.

So I call someone else and was told to call another guy and his price was $2500 for for a Garrett GT-2871R.

And I would have to buy all the lines and gaskets too.

So the truth is this the HKS GT-RS will cost $3600 and the Garrett will cost $2500.

Thats for you help.

If you have a budget of $2500 and a minimum goal of 250rwkws with fast spooling, get the HKS GT-RS that you already mentioned.

Definately reach your 250rwkws and up to around the 280 i believe plus the kit on nengun delivered is $2276 with EVERYthing needed for a bolt on job.

No worries mate... If people could be bothered to search and find out the facts before saying someone is talkin bullshit im sure they'd be as suprised as i was, sure the turbo costs $1700, but to be able to put it on your car "yourself" its $2600. What if u were payin for someone to install it...! more!

I agree selling the old turbo will help but finding someone to buy it would be the problem...

I bothered to do a search. Because you are from SAU you get it for $1692 just for the turbo.

If you get the kit it costs you $2340. That's a $648 difference. A far shot from $1000. Also I'm told the kit comes with:

-20mm Spacer Kit which comes with studs and 2 gaskets to suit.

-Gasket Kit including genuine Nissan dump pipe gasket.

-Oil and Water line fitting kit.

-Silicon reducer elbow 2.5" - 2.0" for the intercooler plumbing.

That's a bit more than just oil and water lines. Now maybe that's still expensive. I don't know. What I do know is that you told us almost $1000 for oil and water lines.

Look i dont really care if u wanna argue your point, but the fact is its still near enough to $1000 dollars more for a few gaskets and 2 hoses, you could buy gasket glue for the flanges if u wanted? I bloke from work did this on his 180 and its still fine. It just pisses me of that they advertise it as $1700 but in reallity if u intend to put the turbo on your car as im sure most of us do when purchasing a turbo it'll cost a fair bit more.

yes you could use gasket glue but that the shit house cheap way of doing it - and not properly.

Race tape works wonders for holding on a front bar but Nissan don't use it from factory. Because it's shit.
