R34 Trans Cooler Upgrade

Ive purchased a upgrade transmission cooler for my 34 and my question to anybody that has done this is, do i still run through the radiator cooler and then the external cooler or is it best i bypass the radiator and run it straight through the external cooler?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

still run the radiator cooler an then the extra external cooler. having just the cooler in some cases actually makes more heat stay in the oil which in turn helps to destroy your transmission. have the cooler lines going- out of box into radiator, out of radiator into external cooler, then out of cooler back to transmission

My 34 had both from the factory? Went thru the radiator and then had a small external one aswell? the external one would of been the size of 3/4 of an a4 sheet of paper.

Thanks guys, mine has an external factory cooler as well but ive decieded to upgrade that cooler

alot of cars have both from the factory, doesnt hurt to upgrade the external one if its small.

Depends on what you do with the car whether it needs upgrading or not.

Keep it going through the radiator though.
