Doctor
G'day megs, Only running 8psi at the mo and **** it pulls hard at the top end. Bloody great mod for not a huge price. Can't wait for the front mount and i'll wind it up to about 12psi and i'll see how i go. Pete can't help you I'm afraid. Doctor
I replaced it with a turbo off a R34 Gtt. It really hauls ass right up till rev limit and feels like it has heaps more left. The only problem is that you can't really run over 12psi as the zorst wheel will fall off. Once I get some money I will replace the ceramic turbine wheel with a steel one and run it to about 15psi. Not a bad upgrade if you dont want 400hp but want a great improvement over stock. I reckon I could pull low 13's with this turbo. SupaFly Skyline
when u say, "all pipes included" what do u mean exactly, im asking due to wanting to turbo my car and if the turbo will go on good and the internals are the same between the RB20DE and the RB20DET, if its still for sale i may buy it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/1723-rb20-turbo-sydney/#findComment-33313 Share on other sites
Doctor
Yeah sorry I should of been more descriptive. It includes all oil and water lines. You will probably need to lower your compression on your engine before you can run a turbo. AlexR31
Doctor, Is the RB20 an ECCS or NICS? Includes plenum and exhaust manifold I take it? Thanks Alex Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/1723-rb20-turbo-sydney/#findComment-50176 Share on other sites
Doctor
It is the R32 roller bearing turbo. No it does not include plenum or intercooler piping otherwise I would be selling for a wee bit more. What it does include is dumppipe, oil & water lines.
