ciao italia, south perth.

Lucy... you eat a lot of pizzas eh ? :D

haha yeah i do - im allergic to nuts so eating out is difficult sometimes. i have to explain that nuts cant be anywhere near the food thats being made - utensils and stuff cant be shared in the kitchen because of nut traces etc.. so pizza's are easy.. italian food doesnt really have nuts in it so i like it =]

asian / indian / thai / chinese tends to have nuts / satay n stuff so as much as i like to try it i cant cos theres too much risk.

+1 for Wagamamas, love the sweet potato crisps. I've never had a bad experience there, but yeah bringing out the meals seperately can annoy you if someone gets their food before you and you're super hungry.

I'm also a fan of the Hog's Breath Cafe in Joondalup which seems like ages away from me but it's worth it. There's one in Northbridge I think but have never tried it.

i always get swee4t potato kusbabi(?) when i go.

its one of my fave. the chilli squid entre is good too.and the salted edamamae

^^^

I did my pastrychef apprenticeship there (at Burswood, we do everything for the whole resort), left in August last year & I'm back working there now. In the last couple of years the standard has been raised a lot, especially as dining in Perth is becoming a lot more popular then a few years ago. Not sure about the other sections but the dessert buffet will be seeing a few changes over the next few months & will be even better :P The Atrium wasn't thought that highly of a few years ago so it wasn't to busy, now they do stupid figures like 1500 people plus, every day.

Yeah the Capri has been around for years.. I've been going there since before I was born >_< It's our family restaurant too.. bit of a trek for us but everytime we try another place we get stung :(

Capri is old school..... YUM! Da Bruno's in inglewood is also really good italian but its hard to get in there sometimes.

I know what you mean Bubba - you find somewhere good - STICK TO IT! I like trying new things, but I hate deciding to go somewhere different and then it turns out to completely shit and it ruins the night.

Crema Cafe in West Perth is awesome. Modern Italian style food and some VERY nice cocktails :(

I also tried a new japanese place the other day - its called 'Fuji Sushi Station' - its across from John Hughes on Albany Hwy in Vic Park. Its a little white building and looks all run down but on the inside its packed with people. The food is awesome. The fact that its packed with Japanese people must say something.

    • I will go over it again, a leak would make the most sense and also explain why I have a high idle issue if I plug the iacv in...I have had everything off, inspected, and replaced every coupler and hose in question, new clamps, reinstalled and basically soaked the entire system with soapy water and find nothing... could there possible be an issue with the wastegate rusted open?? from sitting so long? again the air sound literally sounds like a 3 inch open pipe blowing or sucking air, not just a small passage, very strange. it does sound like the turbo is creating massive air flow but like its not being diverted or flowing into the intake/cylinders, it seems to have very low and delayed power. do appreciate the help
    • Boost leak or exhaust leak. Boost could be from anywhere, including manifold/plenum gaskets. Exhaust is frequently head to manifold gasket or from manifold to turbo gasket. Often caused by missing nuts or broken studs.
    • Check for spacers on the front, in case they've been pushed out a little to try to match he rears better.
    • I should clarify that the previous owner put the wheels on, so Im not entirely sure what he bought. I was searching the Rota page and found these two as the only matches. It did not occur to me that perhaps they sell these wheels with different offsets. I guess the best way to solve this is to take the wheels off and measure them from the inside to be sure.
    • The offset doesn't really have anything to do with dish directly. I mean it kind of does but it also doesn't, it's only tangenial. The offset is purely how much offset (get it) the mounting face is from the CENTER of the width of the rim. I.e, the mounting face would be directly in the middle of the 9.5inches if it was a 18x9.5 ET0 rim. Given it is a +12 rim, the mounting face is 12mm further away from the center (to the outside of the car). Your fronts are +30, so the mounting face is 30mm further away from the center (to the outside of the car). I would wager this doesn't look right, because most skylines generally have the same with guards front to back. So I'd think your fronts look significantly more sunken in than your rears. I'd wager by about 18mm, or so.
