Just wondering on how difficult changing the head unit on an R33 Series 2 Skyline would be?

Is there any special brackets or minor mods needed from changing from a double din HU to a single din HU.

Ive just purchased a single din Alpine HU and are replacing form some jap Ad-Zest thing...

any help would be much appreciated.

thanks.

Pick up a pocket from Nissan (N15 Pulsar or equivalent, has been mentioned before) from your local Nissan, approx $35. Nothing else required.

Follow the thread in the reference guide, stickied at the top of Car Audio.

Its fairly simple. just unscrew the two bracket and the OEM double din stereo should come out. If you change to a single din, you will need a din pocket.

here s a link to teach you step by step.
