Find out if they can be complied first, i don't think anyone in OZ can do it at the moment, if you know anyone then post it up i know someone who was pondering the same car, they look horn from the front down low, butt ugly from behind,'

AB - why would maintenance be an issue and parts?

Just cause theyre not common doesnt mean it would be hard to get shit for it... have a read on some of the mitsi forums im sure u will find a lot of parts can be pilfered from EVOs and GSRs for it

yeah they can be...

VR4's are nice mkay.....wagons a nice change. theres a really nice white sedan that i see in springy once in a while.

i know the one ur talking about... EVO style bonnet etc... looks pimp

So?

youd only be replacing the top half...

not that i know how it works... but i cant see the issue

To put an RB25 into a GTS-4, the RB25 from a RWD R33 won't fit, so you need the RB25 from an AWD Stagea (not sure if they are all awd)

Last time I checked, Al's car is a RWD R33...

well if he had an engine with a worked head, turbos etc and transplanted it i would say it helps a lot... apart from having a stock bottom end :(

lol

indeed :)

**comes to a realisation** I could almost buy two of these for the cost of my engine

The VR4 Legnum is a hot car.

These days you wanna stand out from the crowd of usual cars - Legnums are perfect. They have a specially developed 2.5 liter and use TD04 turbochargers.

Later Model Japanese ones do have the Evolution 4 gearbox and Active Yaw Control.. (these cars would have been recalled some time ago like the Evo 4s which were recalled for an AYC problem)

I havent driven one, but anything mitsubishi Slaps a turbo on to, flys!!! 3000GTs for example, widely hated and despised, for fair reasons - Has anyone driven a stock 3000GT to comment? I drove a bone stock standard one (no aftermarket parts whatsover) and it went much harder than ANY standard /near standard GTR or Evo I have ever been in.

There is a hot looking Red Legnum on Princes Hwy in Clayton (I think) at the dealer. They have a few Stags. IMO - stags are awesome cars - my mate alex has tinkered around with stags for a few years now, you have to put the coin in to make em half decent (ie. turbo, auto, management, cooling, suspension) otherwise they are quite slow and very very heavy. I have also driven a late model Yellow Kitted (R34) Stagea wagon and its kinda the same deal.

my dad owned a GTO and it is something i learned to drive in... i dont know how you thought they are quicker then a GTR stock for stock because they arent.

theyre quick and i think an awesome car, the gizmos alone are super cool but not in the same class as the GTR.

guess this would be a good place for info on em... Legnums

You only need to replace the sump, to fit the engine into a Stagea. And i'd want to keep my fully rebuilt RB30deT :), as it would make up for the extra beef the Stagea carries.

But this is not on the books

The sump is the only differance and they are interchangeable.

thought as much... bloody darkness making me second guess myself with his little tidbit of info

This mitsi uses the 6A13 engine. I've been looking to do a transplant on my FTO...bolts straight up, almost. I have seena few ppl do it already. They go pretty well I have driven one and the Galant..although I still like my 33.
