Will an R33 S2 steering wheel, with the airbag removed, fit straight onto an S1?

No they won't fit

The airbag module plug is different and the series 1 wheel has an extra black box in the wheel behind the airbag.

The series 2 module was be mounted under dash somewhere.

no, what i mean is can u fit an S2 wheel (airbag removed) on a non airbag S1 column.

does the factory spline/hicas etc all fit the same? or are they different sizes

just wondering if its possible

There are different types of "clock springs" (the bit on the column behind the wheel with the yellow warning sticker) across the r33 models. They have a big letter on them to tell the difference like "H" is one type. I have been told if you have the wrong one the hicas can/will pay up.
