Blocking the standard BOV space.

Hi Guys,

I need to know what people have done to block their standard BOV hole... i currently have the BOV there, but blocked its pipes etc, so i want to take the BOV off altogether and block up thwe pipe work.

umm i just looked at ur signature and umm do you work for hills motorsport?? or are u just advertising for them??

if you work there..how much do you charge for a dyno run?..

just to check that my fuelling and other little things are running alright..

Hey Man,

I dont work there, Mark (the owner) is a mate of mine... i send a lot of work his way.

I have a blitz BOV i am using...

I can't see Mark charging much to do a diag with your car on the dyno, but best bet is to ring him.

Just cut out a thin peice of metal in the same shape as the BOV and place where the gasket goes. Thats what I did anyway

Am I right in thinking I could put a Turbosmart Type 3 Plumbback where the standard BOV is, then just get a new complete section of plumbing to replace the section where my atmo vetning is currently situated ?
