its a gtx but not a 3071r its bigger low mount still +pump gas should see 380kw ish on pump as my chat today with the tuner he is surprised so far and can't believe the torque this combination makes he thinks ill see 400kw atw and around 950nm ill be happy with what ever it ends up with. the aim is for 22-23 psi @8200rpm limit

380kw on E85 pump gas or petrol? I would be ultra surprised to see that high on petrol on a GT30 hotside which brings me to - which GTX is it? 3200rpm for 1bar is pretty epic... and it clearly is bigger than a GTX3071R if you are talking those figures, if it is still a 2.5 then I might have to rethink what I think of the GTX if it comes together like you are saying!

Watching with much interest.

its on petrol and yep a gt 30 frame i have not seen any skylines use this turbo yet so im interested as much as you,i have read it spools better than a gtx3076 on evo's so looks the same on skylines to,the only thing i think ill have a issue with is the fuel pump i forgot to put a bigger one in.its only a nismo pump and it will run out of gas in that range i belive.

it is 100 % gtx garrett just not one ive seen being used much on skylines big on evo's in the states, once the cat is out of the bag im sure it will be used more.

by the way anyone doing a Hks low mount manifold and turbo don't use -10 fittings they don't fit in the space.

Interesting. When you said 380kw on pump I started figuring the possibility it was a GTX3576R but then you said it was a GT30 which now has me completely befuddled (I only know of GTX3067R, GTX3071R and GTX3076R and you've ruled them all out!). Regardless, if it is a RB25 still then the spool you have reported is insane compared to what I'd expect from anything bigger than a GTX3071R so very much looking forward to results... or even confirmation of displacement.

When will the tune be completed?

Lol what can I say guys, the planets are aligned today = early wake up (oh and a 9mth old baby waking up)

wait till they get older it gets no better,o and wait till you have three, ill be able to tell you what a mad house is in Aug this year.

did you see about the BBQ

the gtx 3576 is a nice turbo, and its still a rb25 it comes down to good set up,i think as boost rises so will the lag but we will see soon.

im dying to get my F^%$ car back 8 working day tune it better be the best one ive ever had

unheard of !!!

they probably like it so much, there using it for some after hours quiet road flogging sessions,

R & D :woot:

Ok cars back but fuel ran out as I knew it would but I forgot all about it when I took it so the numbers are [email protected] psi went to 17 psi and made 347 kw looking at the dyno graphs it will hit 390-400 easy @22psi full boost at the moment is at 3400 rpm dyno graph up soon as I'm still at Pulse racing, not a bad job I thing more info when I drive it

    • Haha yea it's a bit of a weird setup at the moment, just wanted to make sure I sorted out any headaches before dyno day. At the moment I've changed the exhaust manifold, turbo and downpipe, 460lph fuel pump and rising rate reg as well as the previously mentioned headstuds and gasket. The nistune was already mapped for the car as it was and drove around for a few months no worries. The plan is to run flex fuel hence the big pump, which I've wired direct to the battery through a relay to avoid voltage issues.
    • Um. Was the ECU the same as the one previously there? I know R33's needed R32 GTST ECU's or other tomfoolery to run Nistune. This is such a wild setup. Most people would plumb in the turbo then not drive the car (i.e tow it to a tuner). What's actually changed since it last ran?
    • I'm a bit stuck with this one fellas, I recently decided to undertake a turbo conversion on my GTS-4, ended up pulling the motor to replace all the seals and do an mls head gasket and arp head studs while I was at it. Everything has gone according to plan, no oil or coolant leaks, compression checked out, and decided to give it a test before I book it in for a tune As it stands right now, the turbo only has oil lines plumbed so that I don't put boost into my untuned engine, and I'm using the factory GTS-T crossover pipe with a maf and poddy as a temporary intake. The car starts with relative ease and idles amazingly, however as the title suggests it really doesn't want to rev up, runs very smooth but almost feels choked out and unresponsive to the throttle, almost like it's running lean or something? I've triple checked my vacuum lines and timing with a timing light, injectors haven't been touched as of yet to avoid flooding the engine and worked perfectly beforehand, new plugs and coilpacks, I've even unbolted the cat just to see if it spontaneously collapsed, no dice The car currently has a nistune r32 gtst ecu installed so I have no way to check for fault codes. At this point I'm a bit stumped. Is this normal behaviour for a car with a turbo bolted onto the exhaust going nowhere? I'd imagine the turbo wouldn't cause this much restriction in the exhaust without the boost going through the intake. Any ideas? If necessary I can link a video of how it responds to full throttle while in neutral.
