It is a complete replacement - pin for pin compatible. Identical height, width and length.

what about the base settings on the pfc? my pfc is going in the next few days. I am pulling my safc and stock ecu out, are the default fuel and ignition maps on the pfc any good to drive around with?

Base settings are based on jap fuel. May cause engine to ping. Best keep it until you are about to go tune. Plug in, drive to get it tuned, then drive away happily. Just don't get to happy on the throttle with base settings.

i dont want to get it tuned as i am waiting till my new turbo, injecotrs, z32 afm, cam gears, ebc etc gets installed. And i have buyers for the s-afc already! what to do what to do?

Can't you just run the car with the standard ECU? Take the AFC out.

Hi INASNT, run it on Optimax or Ultimate. Check the detonation levels on the Commander, it is not normally a problem. Used to be before the 98 octane fuels came out, not so much now.

If it is showing excessive detonation, let me know and I will run through the Commander menus with you and take some ignition advance out of it, easy.

i could do that but the car will run like a big agaian with the rich a/f settings of the stock ecu!

i always run on 98 anyway and driving to work and back in peak traffic the car doesent see more than 50% throttle anyway!

the stock maps cant be that bad for 98 ron can they?

No, they should be fine, but you need to learn how to operate and read the Commander, might as well start now.
