GIVEN THE WRONG PIE!! ZOMG YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How wronged he was, surely he should have sue'd for such a travesty!!!! $62million perhaps, inline with the guy suing for his $60 pair of pants, wrecked at the dry cleaners. Honestly, the stuff going on these days...just appauling...next thing you know we'll be complaining about hot coffee spilling out of McDonalds cups...oh wait..yeah thats right.

Long live whinging, keeps the world revolving....and money going to lawyers WOOT!!

the guy suing for 64 million or whatever for the misplaced drycleaning it is actually is a magistrate. Like any dry cleaner earns that much lol. Turns out that he even started to cry in court over the misplaced pants - the dry cleaners didnt fall for the tears though... :D

Yeah, he's a magistrate. He's just listed that amount under his heads of damage for breach of contract. He's probably also suing under tort but regardless of that it's a rediculous sum. He's a fool and has done it for publicity..he doesn't honestly think that any court will award that.

Even if it did get awarded the dry cleaner wouldn't have enough assets to cover it.

He'll get the cost of replacement pants, some small discretionary damages and the costs of court awarded. It's humerous none the less.

OMFG i got some chicken in my pie, haha what a joke, the oposite thing happend to me a couple of weeks back, i orderd a lasagna of the week from a restaurant and it was f*cking vegetarian!!!!!!!!! LOL

The dry cleaner did offer the judge $10k before it got to the court stage...

And deadset, who goes to yatala for the pies! Their cramel tarts is where its at!

    • Actually, ethanol has probably never been cheaper, on a tax free basis, than petrol. With fuel excise being what it is, and only being levied on the hydocarbon component, not the ethanol component, and ethanol for non-drinking purposes not being subject to liquor excise - E85 was cheaper, but not because the combustible liquid itself was particularly cheaper.
    • Maybe? If changing the cat to a higher flowing cat, caused the turbo to spool more quickly, and those areas of the map had not been tuned for the boost level it is now seeing, then yes you would need a re-tune. How dangerous it is running without the updated tune would depend on how far out the tune is with the now higher boost levels, how the engine protection has been setup, is the ECU compensating with a wideband sensor, is the boost control closed loop blah blah million other things... But yeah having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if changing out the cat for a high flow, in say a full 3" exhaust, made no noticeable difference at all.
    • Ah yep. I asked a auto electrician about getting a cheap rebuilt alternator vs a new one. He also said he used to it back in the day but it ended up costing similar to what a new one would and recommended getting a new one,.
    • Ah, to clarify if the car has already been tuned and has been modified and you want to go from a oem cat to a 100 cell or decat or vice versa. Are you saying that the car doesn't need to be tuned after a cat change if it's already been tuned?
    • This has been covered a bazillion times but google wet boiling point vs dry. Motul is only good when it's fresh, once it absorbs moisture it gets pretty average very quickly. So as above, make sure you change it if you're going racing. I run the Endless brake fluid in mind, but only because a mate is a distributor and it's cheap. It's not quite as good as SRF but I'm running 380mm rotors on a Skyline so it's not like they get hot.
