Yay I have found access to Nissan Fast. I have been using it for personal use to locate part numbers the R32 GTR manual does have.

The reason I use it personally was because I was getting tired of ringing up Nissan to get someone with a crappy attitude and wasting 30mins trying to explain what I am after, with respect they are very helpful.

So if you want to save time on the phone trying to describe the part your after to the Nissan Dealers send me a PM on what you need and I'll do my best to find your OEM part number you can take to Nissan. **I take no responsibility on the integrity of the part number that is given**

I know there is something like this in the forums but i couldnt find it.

---MODS--- if I am crossing some boundaries here, just delete this topic.

As a minimum i need:

Model (ie. R32)

AND/OR

VIN-code or Chassis Code (I havent used this yet, it is beneficial for coloured parts, ie panels)

Name of item wanted

General description

hI GUYS,

Just installed it and after putting my VIN and Model No in, im getting this

VIN NO. NOT FOUND.

Car is a 1992 r32 gtst, and i have these CDS a1, a2, a3, b1, b2, gl, gr.

If that makes any sence.

I hope my car isnt using a fake VIN....

:(

Also im running v3.50 what version are you guys running? This seems very old, like it was suitable for windows 98 and lower.

    • Definitely the stroker kit. once you mention you have a RB28 everyone will assume you will flog them and hopefully won't start asking about support mods. Anyone will be too scared to race you, except maybe the RB30 boys
    • Just a quick update: I decided to go ahead with the de-cat for now. The exhaust shop inspected the catalytic converter and said it was in good condition. I took a look myself, and it does not appear broken nor clogged. After the de-cat, the car feels more responsive and smoother. The shop also reinstalled the exhaust temperature sensor into the de-cat pipe, and now the warning light no longer comes on, even when driving hard. The only thing that’s bugging me is the tinny, “can-like” sound the exhaust makes now (similar to having a hole in the muffler). The shop suggested that I might need to replace the muffler. I'll have to think on what to do next.
    • I want to start upgrading but don't have the budget to drop 15k at once, if i was to do one first which would be better and why?
    • Yuh. It is very rare for a single turbo to throw ceramic into the engine. Quite common on GTRs. As I posted above. Mine did destroy the O2 sensor on the way out though! Plastic compressor is fine with the temperature. It's not some flimsy PE/PET/PP thermoplastic. It's a thermoset resin with reinforcing material in it (a composite, as posted by @Lithium above). The compressor never sees much more than 100°C because it's never boosting very high. If you boost it high enough to make a lot of temperature, then the turbine will depart the scene and stop the party anyway.
    • From what I understand, it's a ceramic turbine and a plastic compressor (not sure how it doesn't melt then lol) I heard the series 2 r34 gtt has a metal turbine but I doubt that. @GTSBoy When you blew your standard neo turbo it didn't cause damage from memory just the turbine ended up in the cat?
