Gtr Twin Exhaust

right i have a gtr motor running twin 2.5 pipes turbo back

i have an x pipe whihc merges the gasses at a point

my question is do i run it under the passengers seat(before cats) or after cats (near rear diff)

Hi Fatz , I'm curious as to why you run an X pipe downstream of turbochargers ? I can see what they were trying to do with V8's but not sure if it'd do anything positive for turbo . What sized turbos are the 2x2.5 pipes feeding into ?

He does not have a GTR. Just the GTR motor.

Pete, you put it further down the back somewhere near the diffs.

Thats exactly how my setup will be done aswell, there is also pics of another user who did it the same way....

Cant remember who but they are here on the FI section somewhere.

You'll probably have yours done before mine i think. So whoever wins puts up pics first

the best way to determine on a NA motor is to paint the exhaust lightly and run the engine at say 3000 for a few minutes and see where the paint stops flaking... put the x-pipe there. On turbo cars it makes no diff really but you could use the same principle..
