Its just a standard paper element air filter. Ryco make good filters for standard applications but if you want better flow and filtration you need to get something like a cotton gauze element filter like k&n etc. They arent too expensive.

I think Ill stick to the Ryco filter, after all, a stock skyline air box will do a much better job with a paper filter than a silly pod that sucks in hot air. :whistling:

but a highflow panel filter willb e better :P

That said, paper filters aer still the best filtering, i.e. best for your engine

Autospeed has tested the pressure drop across the standard paper element filter and intake on a vl turbo in the past, the air flow meter mesh was biggest restriction at like 25% of the total restriction and the paper element filter was like 1%, stuff all basically and they are the same filter as the Skylines.

At normal power levels under 250rwkw there would be bugger all power in it.

Atleast when you consider a paper element filter, filters the best as well.
