sven laptop
I don't know where you get one from, but my 93 model R33 arrived from Japan with a single DIN unit & a handy compartment under it with a lift-up door. I imagine most car audio places could find you something similar. Evil
I have the same problem with hole under my hu. I am making a panel out of metal and covering it in leather and then mounting a switch for an amp and I'm putting the turbo timer in there as well. There are heaps of things your could do. Raver_Ace
I went and got one of the pocket insert from Nissan, cost me about $31. Then when i got my stereo installed then next day at JB, they had the same nissan insert for like $20. Oh well. Its great, got more room to put things, free's up your drink holder. Only problem i have, when my phone, stereo remote etc are in it, i launch hard at the lights, EVERYTHING ends up in the back seat, lol it looks amazing, everything flys in a straight line, over the center console and lands in the back seat. Madtrang
I just put my a new head unit in(original unit was a double din alpine), and I'm thinking of grabbing some guages, prefably the r32 gtr center gauges. Does anyone know where a good place to get these from. Or even better mayb the original flip front pocket of the r32. hey raver that's classic man LOL. Should put valcro or somthing in the pocket and some valcro on phone. :-) Mayb bluetack. :-) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/17305-empty-din-slot/#findComment-409970 Share on other sites
Hakujin1977
like raver_ace said, go to nissan parts they carry a lot of parts for skylines, slivias etc even if it's a grey import. i got a bucket to fit in my din space for $30. i then put a blue pen in it, sooo handy!
