Im sure autobahn etc sell them.. they are called gas struts .. they use a bolt on ball and arm configuration that works similar to your hip joint where a ball rotates in a socket to allow movement..

You will need fairly strong ones to hold up that stock bonnet.. fibreglass is another story

depends if you like being cracked in the head via it opening .. yes strong is good but not strongest.. let us know how u go though would be interesting to see... easy install just check your boot ones and then link it to the front :P

Sounds like a very handy mod to do, i hate lifting that pole up, and always worried about knocking it, or the wind catching the bonnet.

Cant seem to find the GTT one.

All i can find is the x-trail/pathfinder :)

Maybe i'll just get a CF bonnet...save weight...
